Centre For Suicide Prevention
The Centre for Suicide Prevention has three main branches - The Suicide Information & Education Collection (SIEC) is a special library and resource centre providing information on suicide and suicidal behaviour. The Suicide Prevention Training Programs (SPTP) branch provides caregiver training in suicide intervention, awareness, bereavement, crisis management and related topics. Suicide Prevention Research Projects (SPRP) advocates for, and supports research on suicide and suicidal behaviour.

Since 1987, Siloam Mission has been a connecting point between the compassionate and Winnipeg’s less fortunate. Mission staff and volunteers work directly with Winnipeg's homeless and disadvantaged to provide day-to-day necessities and support for transition towards a more self-sufficient life.

Winnipeg Boys and Girls Clubs
The Winnipeg Boys and Girls Clubs is a community-based, youth serving agency operating in Winnipeg for 25 years. Our mission is to provide children and youth of diverse social and cultural backgrounds a safe,
challenging environment and the opportunities necessary to acquire skills that will enable them to realize their potential. We accomplish our mission through 6 youth drop-in centers and numerous youth development programs that offer employment preparation, leadership development, sports, recreation, computers, arts, education, and cultural activities. All of the activities are free and designed to be both developmental and preventative. Last year, over 3000 children and youth participated in our programs and events.

Sport Manitoba

CEntrally located at 200 Main Street in Winnipeg, Sport Manitoba also provides office space and meeting room-conference facilities to support the organizational needs of over 30,000 volunteers.
CrimeStat - Winnipeg
CrimeStat is a component of the City's Neighbourhood Safety and Crime Prevention strategy approved by Council in July, 2006. CrimeStat is an approach that combines with the Street Crime Unit, Crime Analysis Unit, and all other Winnipeg Police Service Patrol and Investigative resources to enhance and build upon the strategies and tactics already being used by police.
