United Way of Greater Victoria
Every one of us faces challenges these days. But the challenges that some people in our community live with can become too great to face alone. One in three Victorians will depend on United Way-funded services this year—that could mean your family, friends or neighbours. When we help them, we create the kind of community we want to live in. We can’t make the world a perfect place. But we can change the world … one WAY at a time.

the Mustard Seed Street Church
The largest food bank on Vancouver Island finds its home within the walls of the Mustard Seed Street Church. The food bank's goal is to provide good nutritional food to people in need. The demand for non-perishable food continues to grow, as does the number of people who are unable to make ends meet. There are over 30 grocery stores to drop off a food donation. Your financial donation will triple a dollar's food purchasing power. The goal of the Food Bank is to assist in meeting the immediate nutritional food needs of recipients while working towards long term resolutions to hunger and poverty.
