Ottawa-Carleton Institute of Civil Engineering
The Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Civil Engineering (OCICE) was established in 1984 by the Departments of Civil Engineering at Carleton University and the University of Ottawa, both located in the city of Ottawa, to combine the research strengths of the two departments and to give students access to the professors, courses and facilities at both universities. Students register at the university with which their supervisor is affiliated but have free access to the classes and facilities at both universities.
