The Township of Langley
The Township of Langley is located in the lower mainland of British Columbia, Canada, and is a member of the Greater Vancouver Regional District. Incorporated in 1873, the Township is made up of various communities, including Aldergrove, Brookswood/Fernridge, Fort Langley, Murrayville, Walnut Grove, Willowbrook and Willoughby. The Township occupies 316 square kilometres (122 square miles) and is home to approximately 100,000 residents. The City of Langley is a separate municipal entity that occupies 10 square kilometres (4 square miles) and has a population of approximately 23,500.
Langley Food Bank - Aldergrove Food Bank
The Langley Food bank is open for distribution every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am until 2 pm. It was first opened in Sept 1989 and has always had many enthusiastic volunteers who help in a variety of tasks including distribution, cleaning, food packaging, paperwork, and sorting.
