Sunshine Theatre has offered theatre classes in Kelowna since the mid-1980s. Instructors have included Neal Facey, Miriam Smith, Sandra Head, Ian Forsyth, Jamie Charest, Teleni Koochen, Jo Ward, and Ann Marie Holmwood.
