Community Information Service Hamilton-Wentworth provides services to Hamilton and area which result in a public that is well informed about government and community services, and a community awareness of unmet needs.

The Volunteer Centre has for over 30 years recruited and referred potential volunteers to community organizations. Through 125 member organizations, we assist over 140,000 volunteers from Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Dundas, Ancaster, Flamborough and Glanbrook.

The Good Shepherd Centre, Hamilton is administered by the Congregation of the Little Brothers of the Good Shepherd, which was founded in 1951 in Albuquerque, New Mexico by Brother Mathias Barrett.

The Hamilton Community Foundation is a resource for philanthropy supporting charitable activities in the Hamilton area. Donations are pooled and invested creating a permanent fund.

Way of Burlington & Greater Hamilton has been uniting hundreds of businesses and over 1,000 workplace volunteers to help people during times of need and crisis. The United Way's activities include an annual community campaign to raise funds, and the distribution of those funds to a network of community-based social agencies. Through children's programs, counselling services, community-support centres and home care, United Way agencies work to make our communities healthier, safer places to live and grow.
