FEED NOVA SCOTIA
Today, FEED NOVA SCOTIA is the central collection and distribution centre for food banks and meal programs across the province and serves thousands of people each month. Though FEED NOVA SCOTIA works hard to provide emergency food assistance, it is understood by FEED NOVA SCOTIA and its member agencies that hunger is a product of a greater issue: poverty. Realizing this problem is not going away in the short-term, FEED NOVA SCOTIA has redefined its Mission Statement, accepting a more permanent role in society.
