The Cascade Swim Club was formed in 1973 as a result of an amalgamation of the South Y Barracudas and the Acadia Swim Club. Since then, Cascade has recognized tremendous growth in many different areas; from 40 to 275 swimmers, from 1 pool to 4 and from 2 coaches to 21.

UCSC is synonymous with integrity, dedication and commitment to its swimmers.
