The Alberta Kung Fu Association [A.K.A.] is a non-profit organization promoting the style and tradition of My Jong - Law Horn Kung Fu. We are committed in fostering the development of Canadian athletes of all ages through a no-fee training schedule. This allows students to study with us who have the interest and desire but possibly not the funding for a martial art training.

The Calgary Ki Society is a registered non profit society established in 1974 to spread Ki principles and Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido as taught by master Koichi Tohei, Founder of Ki Society International. Tohei sensei presides at the world headquarters in Japan. He first started teaching outside Japan in 1951 and today his Ki principles are taught worldwide. The Calgary Ki Society is affiliated with the Northwest Ki Federation and Ki Society International.
A martial arts school that maintains the traditional values while incorporating modern training methods. Our students achieve their belts in World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) Taekwondo, but we also have classes in self-defence and weapons. Classes are led by one of our WTF Masters and frequently assisted by other qualified black belt holders to ensure we maintain one of the highest instructor/student ratios in Canada.

My Jong Law Horn Kung Fu program is taught under the instruction of Sifu Jess Kung. He has studied Kung Fu since 1967 and accumulated over 20 years of teaching experience. He has an open minded attitude toward teaching. He is the board director for the Alberta Wu Su Assocaiation. Our school teaches open hand routines, weapon routines, sparring and self defense skills. We adopt the color level ranking system similar to the Karate style in order to compete in the open martial art tournament. Our Kung Fu program has been in operation for the last 20+ years in South Calgary.
