Calgary Youth Science Fair
The science fair is organized by the Calgary Youth Science Fair Society to encourage and promote ongoing interest in science. The Board of Directors is comprised of volunteers representing the business, scientific, and education communities of Calgary. The mission of the Calgary Youth Science Fair Society is "to promote an appreciation for scientific principles and method in the youth of Calgary by means of an annual science competition". The fair is open to students in grades 5 through 12. Registration is normally done through a science fair coordinator in each school. If a school is not entering the fair, then a parent has the option of entering their child themselves.
