The Simcoe County Children's Aid Society served more than 3,400 families and 6,600 children in Simcoe County. More than 140 foster families living in cities and towns provided homes for children in care. More than 140 volunteers provided support. The agency is one of 52 Children's Aid Societies legislated under the Child and Family Services Act to protect children. Supporters donated more than $152,000, to help us provide non-funded programs and services for children in the County. Those programs include summer camp and bursaries for post-secondary education. Every citizen is responsible to report suspected cases of child abuse or neglect to their local CAS. More than 200 employees at the Simcoe County CAS provide services 365 days a year, 24-hours a day from offices in Barrie, Orillia, Midland, Collingwood, Alliston and Bradford.

Oakdale Child & Family Service provides long and short term care in residential programme facilities registered under the Child and Family Services Act. Our emphasis is on treatment. We stress the training of functional skills which can be generalized to the home and community environment. Our residential programme also offers an opportunity for recreational and community experience in a training environment which is highly structured and consistent.
Encourage Youth. Our mission is to reclaim high-risk youth and to create a safe and secure environment, to reduce recidivism, to teach pro-social skills, values and behaviours, to instill self-discipline, responsibility and accountability.
